You spin me right round...
Regardless of the title, today I want to present you my new camera... ... ... the lomography Spinner 360°.
That's what it looks like.a little camera on a big handle. Now the genious part is the way it functions. You have to hold it in one hand and pull the string that's on the handle with the other. Release it and the camera will do a full 360 spin, capturing whatever's on it's way. Killer detail : the dolphin on the camera's top.

+-- FAIR PLAY --+ 10 euro SALES VINTAGE MARKET
Let's get to part two then. Yesterday night I went to holy mustaches bazaar in TORA K44. Who wouldn't be interested by a large choice of vintage clothes anyway?

I'm out of words right now. But I'll just say I had a fun time. And shorts and a skirt. I guess it's time for me to stop buying things...
PS: the last picture!!!!

Aunty
The title sure looks strange but it's part one of my great discoveries of the day.
So let's get to the main subject. A few months ago, dear Sandy Kay Forkinidio (here's her Flickr) sent me a review of boutique theia in the center of Athens, a place with retro looking corsets. And having time on my hands (and a car, actually) I went looking.

Here's what I found. A little shop that's forgotten time and looks chic and nostalgic. The corsets are handmade (and so is the rest of the clothing) and the lines flattering. Oh, and if you see the swimming cap lookalikes in the last picture, they're actually clutches. And I got one in colour peach.har har har :p

Summer in the city
So, until the time comes for me to go to a lovely Greek island (Skiathos) I'm stuck in Athens. Still, I'm in summer mood. Wearing :
Big chunky necklaces

Shiny nail polish

Prints

This year, my most expected summer buy was a maxi dress, multi-coloured and comfortable. A dress I could wear all day every day.

dress from Accessorize
necklace from a magazine I bought years ago
nail polish from Sephora

Plastic Dreams
Last night I almost posted on my favorite kind of shoes. I actually waited and today I can post about my recently bought shoes. Sounds better

Have I ever talked to you about my obsession with plastic bubblegum smelling high heels?
Yes I'm talking about Melissa. Those recycled plastic bubblegum smelling shoes definitely hold a place in my heart. I recently bought the last pair of Melissa+ Vivienne Westwood.
I don't need to mention my lust for high heels. But since it would be a waste to dirty them with the campuses mud (and frankly, who would wear high heels in our university?), that's what I wore instead
Cute, plastic, no-name flats. Just what a girl needs on a tough summer day

The haunted house
You've seen one, I'm sure. The kind of house that looks old, messed up but from the details you can see that it must have been a real beauty when built.
We've visited one two days ago. It had the decadent beauty of an old chap.

Ceci n'est pas une pipe
Have you ever heard of Magritte's, "la trahison des images" (the treachery of images)? Ceci n'est pas une pipe (this is not a pipe) sounds absurd, but it's actually true, since "ceci" (this) refers to the painting, not the thing represented. Or not? In any case, next time you see picture or a photo, think twice about what you're seeing. It fun and at the same time, of the utmost importance

Last days at Arsakeion
I forgot to tell you that I had an exhibition, didn't I?
It was a team exhibition we organised with the photographic team of the university. I had lots of fun there. And yesterday was the last day. So I decided to have a photo shoot there. On the roof of the old building of Arsakeion school.

That's what the scenery looked like... all those old smelly apartment buildings...I love them
